2020 Improvements
New for 2020, we have added a small SUV for local deliveries. Now when our existing and new customers call for wedding, party or any ice needs over 200 pounds, we can quickly and safely deliver to your event. Looking forward to better serving our customers!
Our History
Our Beginnings...
Mainely Ice is a Lewiston ice company started in 1963 as Blanchette's Ice Co. After years of quality products we are proud to announce that it is now owned by Steve and Joshua Martel. Our father and son team plan to continue the family values and loyalty to local small businesses helping promote our products. The future for Mainely Ice is to improve efficiency of product delivery. We are hoping with continued business support, that we will be able to expand and grow our brand to reach outside the Lewiston/Auburn area.
Special Events
If your special events need ice, please feel free to call and we can schedule a delivery. We have done such special events as Carnivals, weddings, company barbecues, festivals, concerts and church functions. No job is too big or too small! If you need more than ten 20 lb. bags of ice, please call and schedule at least 7 days ahead of the planned event date.
2019 Changes
The first of our new merchandisers has been placed!!!!
The first of our new, larger merchandisers has made its way to the Sabattus St Roopers. Still needs a little fine-tuning and a Mainely Ice logo but everything happens in time. Happy New Year from Mainely Ice, a locally owned and family operated business.
